Are you working professionally with movements and would you like to share your practice?
Apply now!

PRAXIS Trondheim is an initiative by and for Trondheim-based dance artists, performers, and movers. By sharing artistic practice in the form of weekly classes, workshops, and artist talks we offer a platform for exchange, discussion, and movement practice in Trondheim since 2021.

For autumn 2025, spring 2026 and autumn 2026 we are looking for performing artists and professional movement practitioners interested in sharing their practice. You should have an interest in addressing a wide range of movement practitioners coming from different backgrounds and create a class where we can come together to train, develop and explore. We especially encourage local artists based in Trondheim or Trøndelag to apply for the weekly classes format.

Deadline: 10 October 2024

(Paid job according to Noda rates. PRAXIS Trondheim is supported by the Cultural Council, FFUK and DansiT)

Interested?

Send an email to praxistrondheim@gmail.com with the following information:

1 CV
2 Short bio (Norwegian and English)
3 A brief description of your movement practice and how you would like to share it.
You have three choices:

  • In the form of a series of 3 weekly classes (2 hour classes on Wednesdays at 09 - 11)

  • A workshop format (3 - 4 hours, taking place on a Saturday or Sunday or 2 x 2 hour classes taking place on Friday and Saturday)

  • In form of an Artist Talk

Also state the name of your practice or find a title for it. Write one sentence about the target group, who is your practice for? Please also write something about how you want to adapt the practice to different backgrounds/levels/abilities and if and how the practice is available to different bodies.
